The yacht is a Princess 50 with a great panoramic flybridge on top, salon inside, kitchen, salon on outside deck, 2 large cabins, and 2 restrooms. Cooling and heating, and guaranteed good atmosphere onboard.

Boat capacity:
Boat is certified for maximum 12 passengers, including safety equipment. No lower or upper age limitation. The ticket is for a full day, boat exclusively for you and your family (price per trip)

The fjord tour:
We depart from Bergen city center, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city, including Mount Fløyen and Mount Ulriken.

We then slowly cruise up the fjords from Bergen. The scenery changes gradually from when we leave the second largest city in Norway, passing the suburbs Sandviken and Eidsvåg, to when we arrive at the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls. At the waterfall in Modalen you can shower under the waterfall onboard the boat, or taste the fresh mountain water. The atmosphere shifts from busy city life, to a quiet and pristine landscape and surroundings.

We then dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you can have lunch at the small local cafe and explore the village on your own. No other tours stop in Mo, so this is a great opportunity.

Enjoy the quietness and nice nature during this full day cruise. As your host we will do our utmost to give you a memorable experience!

Guide:
The captain will also act as a guide and be available for all kinds of support and service during the tour.

Timetable:
09:30*: Departure from Bergen city center at Zachariasbryggen at the Fish Market.
12:30  Passing through the narrow Mostraumen channel, with strong tidal current.
13:00  Arrival at the waterfall in Modalen
13:30  Dock in Modalen. Time ashore for lunch at the local cafe (we can order table for you), or walkaround in the small village.
15:00: Departure from Modalen
18:00  Back in Bergen

Lunch:
Lunch at the local restaurant in Mo is not included in the price. Please let us know in the comments field when making the online booking if you would like us to reserve a table for your group in advance. Lunch is served à la carte. (Fish & Chips, Local oven-baked salmon, Hamburger with French fries, Omelet, Half chicken With French fries)

Alternatively, you are welcome to bring some food or drinks to be enjoyed onboard. We can also have lunch arranged for you onboard the boat, together with our catering partner (extra cost, please let us know minimum two days ahead).

Your email confirmation is your ticket for this tour. You can bring a printed copy or show the confirmation on your mobile device.

Cancellation policy:
Tickets can be changed (if other days available) or cancelled for free up until 7 days before departure. Cancellations 7 to 2 days before is charged with 50 %. Cancellations must be made by email to post@hardanger-fjord.no. Bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded 2 days or less before departure.
